Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be happy with Clipvo. If something's not working for you, we'd rather fix it than lose you as a customer. That said, here's how refunds and cancellations work.
The short version
- You can cancel your subscription anytime, no questions asked
- Refunds are available within 7 days of your first payment if you're not satisfied
- After 7 days, we don't offer refunds, but you keep access until your billing period ends
- If we messed something up (technical issue, billing error), we'll make it right
Canceling your subscription
You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Click your profile picture → Account → Manage Subscription → Cancel Plan. Takes about 10 seconds.
What happens when you cancel:
- Your subscription won't renew
- You keep full access until the end of your current billing period
- After that, your account downgrades to the free tier automatically
- Your projects and data stay intact — you just get free tier limits
No penalties. No "are you sure?" guilt trips. We get it — things change.
7-day satisfaction guarantee
If you just signed up for a paid plan and it's not what you expected, we've got you covered for the first 7 days.
Here's how it works:
- You have 7 days from your first payment to request a full refund
- Just email us at support@clipvo.in with "Refund Request" in the subject
- We'll process it within 24-48 hours, no questions asked
- Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days
We'd love to know what didn't work for you, but you don't have to explain if you don't want to. We'll process the refund either way.
After the first 7 days
Once you're past the 7-day window, we don't offer refunds for the current billing period. Here's why:
Our pricing is monthly, and we've already provided the service for that time. Think of it like a gym membership — if you used it for 3 weeks, you can't get refunded for the full month.
But here's what we will do:
- You can cancel right now and stop future charges immediately
- You keep access until the end of your current billing period
- If there's a technical issue preventing you from using the service, we'll extend your access or issue a credit
Billing errors and technical issues
If something went wrong on our end — you got charged twice, a feature was broken for days, or you couldn't access your account — that's on us.
We'll make it right:
- Duplicate charges get refunded immediately
- Extended downtime (more than a day) = account credit or refund
- If a feature you paid for doesn't work and we can't fix it quickly, we'll compensate you

Annual plans (when we launch them)
Right now we only offer monthly billing. If we add annual plans in the future, here's how refunds will work:
- Same 7-day refund window for full refund
- After 7 days: prorated refund for the unused months (minus one month as a processing fee)
- You can still cancel anytime and use the service until the annual period ends
We'll update this page when that happens.
Free tier (obviously no refunds)
The free tier doesn't cost anything, so there's nothing to refund. You can use it as long as you want with no commitment.
If you're on the free tier and hitting the limits, upgrading to a paid plan gives you unlimited access plus the 7-day refund window to try it risk-free.
How to request a refund
If you're within the 7-day window or believe you're eligible for a refund:
- Email us at support@clipvo.in
- Subject line: "Refund Request"
- Include: Your account email and reason (optional but helpful)
- We'll respond within 24 hours
- Refunds process within 5-7 business days
We'd rather fix the problem
If you're asking for a refund because something's not working or you're unhappy with the service, please give us a chance to make it right first.
Common issues we can fix fast:
- "The transcription is inaccurate" → We can show you how to edit it quickly
- "I can't figure out how to use X" → We'll walk you through it or make a guide
- "This feature doesn't work" → We'll fix the bug or find a workaround
- "It's too slow" → We can help optimize your workflow
We're a small team and we care a lot about making Clipvo work for you. If you give us a shot, we'll do our best to turn it around.

Bottom line: We're not here to trap you into paying for something you don't want. The 7-day refund window is real, canceling is easy, and if we mess up, we'll fix it. We'd just rather keep you as a happy customer than squeeze a few extra dollars out of a bad situation.
